Does anybody keep both zebra loaches and corys together, if so do they get on ok together ?

Will be goining into a 125 litre Juwel rio, bottom dimentions is I think 80 cms by 35 cms.

I definately am getting 3 zebra loaches so how many corys could I put with them and which corys would be the best - was thinking panda ones but they may get too big idk

The tank is too small for Zebra Loaches at 81x36x50cm for life, a 120cm long tank is far more suitable, as they are quite active.

Getting 3 loaches is just as bad (if not worse, because loaches have better "weapons" for inflicting damage) as getting 3 corydora of one species. Many loaches form complex hierachy structures and so a group of 8 should be a minimum.

Mixing loaches and corydora is risky, as the former are generally more boisterous at feeding time and they have proper mouths to have the option of nipping tankmates to get their way. There are exceptions, for instance Brochis spp. are quite boisterous catfish and many of the "kuhli"-like loaches need to be with the most placid of tankmates.

Your tank would be great for Dwarf Chain Loaches in terms of dimensions, a group of 8 would be a sizeable chunk of the stocking, I'm not convinced 8+ Corydoras sterbai (with similar temp needs) would have enough space alongside the loaches; be boisterous enough at feeding time; have room for such a group in this tank (that would be ~80cm of fish with no other upper water tankmates).

Oh they look pretty cool, i will ask my fish guy if he can can some of them instead, only loaches he has are clown, pakistan and zebra i think.
Probablly wont bother will any cories at all then as if it's one or the other then i'd rather loaches tbh
