Zebra Danio Thin And Not Eating

Hiya, my Zebra Danio recently had inflammed gills, which I noticed straight away and treated and he appeared to be fine.

Now my Zebra appears to have stopped eating flakes when I put them in, dives to the top as if going to eat - but dont eat!!

Now he is getting very thin and majority of the time hanging around the top of the water, not swimming much but not gasping and the back of his body and back fin droops downwards until he starts swimming around again (normally when the female had nudged him).

Tried two different sorts of flakes - no success.

Tried crushed peas today and hey swallowed lots!! and started swimming around well again.

Couple of questions hope you can help me with please

Anyone diagnose what they think is wrong with him?

Can I keep feeding him peas if that is all he will eat? (I normally only give to the tank once a week)

Checked water stats - all fine.

Can you post the actual numbers from your tests please? 'Fine' just isn't of any use, tbh.

Also, how big is the tank, what fish are in it, is it cycled, and how often and how big are your water changes?
