Zebra Danio Spawning

my zebra danio looks like it is going to spawn soon!!!!!!!!!!!!aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
i dont have a breeding tank or a breeding trap!!!!i put marbles on the gravel and emptied some of the tank.i putt a tiny net aswell to stop the parents eating the eggs when they lay them. but im worried incase they do get eaten . any tips on how to stop them eating the eggs???

You dont really ned the marbles if you have gravel - the eggs are so minute they will fall through the gravel.

You will know when they are spawning as the female will dash around like a maniac with the male in hot persuit diving into all the nooks and crannies! If you dont have a seperate tank the fry will get eaten. Mine spawned continually for over a year and id often see fry (when they hatch they are like fine hairs that stick to everything) but none ever survived . All you can do is provide dense cover with lots of plants and hope for the best!
