Help! We noticed this lump on one of our danios, any idea what it is? We treated the water already with antibacterial.

It's hard to tell from that pic (not blaming you; small fish are the very devil to photograph, I know). It doesn't look good though; probably a tumour of some kind.

Could you give us some more details to help with a diagnosis though? Size of tank and filtration, what fish are in there, how long the tank has been set up, plus test results of your water (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH) if you have any?

Yes, just on one side, its red in the middle.

Its a cold tank, its in with a hillstream loach, 2 fancy goldfish and 3 other zebras.

That's bad.
Lumps that are red in the centre can be bacterial.
Has the lump just suddenly appeared.
Does the lump look hard, or soft like filled with fluid.

What was the name of the med you used.

It looks soft, like a blister or an ulcer.

I'm not sure on the medication as it is my fiance who treated it. I'll see if i can find out...

Ok.
You need to be using an internal bacteria med.
Find out which med she used.
