You've Read About Bad Lfs

Im sorry but it would of also got my back up to.

If u said it exactly the way u put it here then it was a lil rude.

There are so many diff ways you could of put it.

I can understand where your coming from but if this guy was/is a newbie then how would he know better you cannot assume someone knows the rights and wrongs.

Also it is nice to think that lfs are there to give us fantastic advise and like you did refuse to sell fish that would certainly suffer. But you may have lost that customer for good and thats bad buisness. At the end of the day the lfs is there to make money, if we like that idea or not.

Daniel.

Exactly, equilibrium, good Karma and other such nice things to say.

look, if the conversation occured as indicated, then wolfie responded in a calm and professional manner. you don't have to be an effusive salesperson 100% of the time, especially if you know the customer and the guy is familiar enough that you know he won't care what you have to say.

as for the question of "how did this topic get turned into a LFS-bashing discussion"--there are a lot more LFS customers in this world than there are LFS workers. people tend to talk about what they know and defend the side they're on ;)
