ok, i had to post a few more pics of my caucatoides fry pics, i just can't help it. the camera came out tonight...and i think i have i problem...i might need help, i just can't stop taking pics of these little guys... :*) these are the few fry that i haven't been able to catch to move out of the main tank.

They're so cute! :wub: I know what you mean.... my friend once had convict fry and I was over every night staring at them and taking pics.
 
i've moved 11 fry to a tank of their own, and there are about 3 or 4 more in the parent tank still. i was reluctant to move any more because they seem to be growing a lot faster in the tank with the parents, which i really don't understand, but i figure the parents will be getting ready to breed again, so i kind of want to get the juvies out so papa doesn't kill them. i guess i just love watching them grow and need an avenue to share my excitement...which means you guys will get lots of pics...sorry
 
Those last two are really good pics. SO when should they start developeing more colours?
 
i'm not sure, this is my first time raising caucatoides fry. some of them have black on the from of their pectoral fins (is that the right name for them? the front fins on the bottom) so i'm thinking those will be female because the females have the black. unless that is just a juvie thing and it'll change
