Hi guys. I am currently cycling a 100l tank without fish. When the tank is fully cycled I plan to introduce (not all at once obviously) but I eventually want to end up with
6 sterba's corydoras catfish
4 gardneri killifishi
12 cardinal tetra
2 discus
I have done a little research but would like to know what people think, on compatibility, tank size etc and anything else I should know.
Thanks in advance

Your pushing it a bit with the Discus really. I dont know much about them but i think 50G+ is needed unless there a breeding pair and on there own.A Festivum chichlid would work instead.
I would have
8 Sterba corys
8 Cardinal tetra
8 Hathets
1 Festivum
but your stocking with a Festivum instead of the Discus will wok fine aswell.

Thanks kizno. Will a festivum be ok alone? And will it become too big for my tank? Also would live or artificial plants be better? Sorry for all the questions. Am relatively new to fish keeping

Yeah it should be fine along. The only problem with getting more than one is if there males or pair up the other fish there likely to fight or batter the other fish. They get to about 2" so shouldn't be a problem. Its down to personal choice really, personally ive never got along with plants so prefer to use alot of twisted wood to crate cover instead. If y4ou do go for the Hatchets some type of floating plant would be best so they have cover at the top and to discourage them jumping.

Will def be looking out for a festivum in that case. Thanks

There not massively common but if you ask around you shouldnt have to much trouble finding them. There also know a Flag cichlids sometimes.
