Your Fish And Other Animals!

My tank has been fishless cycling for a few weeks so was just sitting in the corner not doing alot.

The cycle finished about 10 days ago but I carried on adding ammonia just to make sure

Anywaaaaaay ............on Saturday I added the first fish - some Harlequins and some corys - fab little things.

Since then my dog - a cocker spaniel - has noticed the corys - she finds them fascinating. The tank is 4 feet long and Daisy stands on her hind legs to look in and wanders up and down the length of the tank as the cory's go along inside the tank - its hilarious Daisy is completely bemused by these little creatures that have appeared in her living room. She sits for hours on the end of the sofa nearest the tank just watching

Does anyone else have fish obsessed dogs or cats???

Lol, I have a Bullmastiff and although he is only a puppy he weighs nearly 10stone, and I dont like him being in my bedroom when Im not in there but when he does come in he sits in front of the big tank and just stares for ages... I'm just worried that he's going to jump up and crack the tank or something which he could probably easily do with his weight haha! We also have 5 cats, and the littlest one likes to sleep on the top of the tank because its warm, but she sometimes looks over the edge and will sit there with her little paw dangling down bless her, its as if she thinks she has a chance of catching a fishie..
