Your Dream Tank?

300g for my gourami...

i know how i can get a hold of one of those, but...my parents wont let me...

it fits in my house and i can afford it but...ill be in college next year =(

5 mini circular indoor ponds, each about 1000 gallons, one a planted tank, another catfish tank, a reef tank, a shark tank and a breeding clownfish pond, all of them positioned like the number 5 on a dice.

My house, would be inside my fish tank at the bottom. Oxygen would be pumped into the house. All the walls would be glass, and the fish tank would be the same. My house would be 200 sq. feet, and my fish tank 1000 or more :X

Tank would inhabit a huge shoal of wild caught Discus, and a huge shoal of dithers.

And you would have to eat fish for dinner all the time though :p

Did I forget to mention the glass elevator?

probably not enough discus in the wild for you, you might as well live in the wild lol, then you wont need to worry about feeding, water changes etc.

I would have a whole two story room inside a two story house that was a a tropical amazon aquarium. The bottom of the room (first floor level) would be water. The second floor level would contain a dock for feeding and maintenence. On the first floor, i would have a glass tunnel leading into the aquarium which would have a small dome shaped room, which would be situated in the middle of the aquarium.

I got bored, so i decided to draw this idea.

looks great!

it seems like everyone wants big big tanks, i wonder how would it be like if the oceans are placed in huge, and i mean huge, tanks.

Going against the general trend- I want lots of nano tanks, in the region of 5-10 gallons, some 15 gals and maybe two or three 4-foot tanks, all round the house, so I can enjoy them all the time rather than in a fish house (not that there's room in the garden for a fish house anyway). These are some of the setups I would like:

Tanganyika shelldwellers species tank

pseudomugil species/breeding tanks

cory breeding tanks (in the plural)

a number of species/breeding tanks for small livebearers, such as heterandria formosa, merry widow, merry widow fairweatheri, limias of various kinds, endlers, wild guppies, neoheterandrias, phallichthys etc etc

galaxy rasbora species/breeding

desert goby tank

shrimp tank

sundry tanks that can be called on for spawning/fry raising

one large tank with moustached danios and plecs or with goodeids

and a large community tank
