I bought 3 young dwarfs the other day, and thought I had 1 male and 2 females, but now it is turning out that all 3 are males! Such a pity as I wanted to breed them. i had the breeding tank already set up... It is a 80 litre tank with lots of plants that reach the surface to facilitate the building of a bubble nest.
Luckily I have them in 180 litres, so space is not a problem. I hope though that the one that coloured up last will not be getting sick due to stress. In theory he should be able to get his own territory (lots of plants and wood in my tank), but if he is weak, he might get hassled by the other 2.
I am planning on going back to get 2 (real) females and I have a friend that is interested in getting males, so then I will give 2 of the males to her.
