York Sandstone?

I have mamaged to find out where i can get some sandstone for my cichlid Tank.

The question is, Is YORK Sandstone natural and the correct stone.

well the way to test is to put a drop of vinegar on it and if it fizzes then dont use it. i dont know how to tell if its true

well if its true "york stone", its natural. but it is a form of sand stone, therefore porous. so i would suggest it need to be soaked in old tank water for some time. still worth doing the vinegar test too. Sandstone, is often not recommended for use in tanks. that said many here use it with no problems. imho it should be safe.
