well it seems after about 9/10 weeks we've finally cycled!

ammonia now consistently at 0, nitrites also consistently 0.

I'm still gonna be doing 50% w/c at least once a week (mainly cause i enjoy feeling like im taking care of my fishies)... but i think friday may well be new fishy day whooop!

now to decide which to get first... either the extra 3 corys to up them to 6... or top up numbers on the 5 black neons... or get the cherry barbs... or get the diamond neons..... any opinions? or should i consider something else instead of those mentioned above? (got 3x cory, 5x black neon, 1 clown plec, 3x lyretail swordtail, 6x red parrot platy... in a 142litre 4' tank )

You could get both a school of 5 neon tetras AND cherries.
two platys and that's about it.

That's what I would do.

I wouldn't add more than that. 142 liters is ABOUT 38 US gallons.
