Ex-LFS manager/ keeper of over 30 danio species
I just came back from my lfs and they had some danios there that were
very unusual looking, so I brought 5 of them.
They are marked like leopards with long fins,
only they are a grey/blue colour.
the photo is the best I can do at the moment (need new batteries). more to come soon, I hope.
I have discovered that they are a F4 (fourth generation)hybred of longfinned leopards and glowlights, yes glowlights. very unusual indeed.
Glowlight danios are not the easiest of danios to keep or breed and cross breeding with other types is virtually unheard of.
