Yes Filter Or No Filter?

i have heard a lot of people say the current is bad for the bettas but my betta loves it. his favorite spots are on the thermometer and underneath the filter. maybe i'm doing something wrong?

Your betta just so happens to be a freak. Juuust kidding, I've heard of some bettas that did like "surfing" on the current, but it just annoys most of them. If your betta likes the current, then that's fine, and by all means keep it in there for him to have fun in. Just make sure that he doesn't get stuck in the intake or anything when he's under the filter.

It all depends on the bettas personality. I have females who love sloshing around in the current and i have males who just like to mope around the bottom or top looking for food
