To my Knowledge of readin they're aggresive to other damsels but peaceful to other fish.. so my answer would be yes it is compatible!

Really depends on the tank size and whether you've got a damsel who just want's to be a pric or not... Sometimes yellowtails do just fine in community tanks. Other times, they're a terror. Their chances of being a terror greatly increase in tanks smaller than 4' long. JMO, but I never reccomend damsels
