yellow labs and kribs

Labs get 5 inches so you would be overstocked maybe 3 would work and some bottom feeders.I think 8 would be way too many. I cant comment on kribs but correct me if im wrong I think labs are more aggressive and Im pretty sure a krib is a community fish? I think it would look great if you had 3 labs and maybe some synodontis cats or some clown loaches. good luck :)

There would be no problem with 8 labs in that tank, however good filtration and upkeep are a must, as mentioned. 5 or 6 might be a better number for the average fish keeper. I always start off with more juveniles to ensure you don't end up with more males then females, so I'd get 10 or 12 with the intention of keeping 8, or 8 or 10 with the intention of keeping 6.

I would not, however, subject the kribs to that kind of fate. Labs won't respect the kribs territory, and with all the labs swimming around they won't be able to do anything about it.

Thank you very much. I will just stick to 6 labs as a species tank. That's all I really wanted but I have always wanted kribs too. My LFS just started to carry them. Ah well, I guess I just have to get another tank sometime!

Oh, well aslong as you get a bigger tank for them when they get older. Im sure they'd appreciate it
