Hello

What do you think of my set up? Just the one yellow lab at the moment. Rehomed some other fish with plans to get some females for the stud but is there enough cover?

I know bogwood isn't really reccomended but it means I dont have to do anything with the ph, its just striaght out the tap. Also, it's 29gallon. I've read thats the minimum!

Im after getting some yellow labs in my tank when its cycled. Why dont you get some oceon rock? Looks amazing and cichlids like it.
But I must say it looks a nice tank, i dont no why but it looks like its inside a wall if you get me?

How much did you pay for the yellow lab?

Thanks.

It's built in to a unit where i have a TV above it. I'll have a look at the oceon rock.

EDIT: I just googled it and it looks to "edgy" to me, I read somewhere that it's best to have smooth rocks for labs.

I'm not sure how much he was, it was a while back. I'm struggling to find decent size ones at the lfs at the moment.

ocean rock is great for malawi mate i it helps buffer the water to a highter ph and gives plenty or caves and holes for when they aggression gets abit heated lol

i have it in both my tanks

ah ok. They look great as well! Nice1

May be out with the bog wood and newly purchased rocks then...

Yeah, I could probs take some out but the lab has been diggin it up and piling it against the glass which is why it looks so high.
