Not the best, I find the bright yellow difficult to photograph.
These are F1 Labs which I`ve had about 2 months.

Lovely fish :)

What's the black and blue one in the background?

Again great photographs and very nice looking fish!

The bar running through the males eye looks great, adds that little something extra to its face.

Looking good my white labs are coming on now looking nice. Nick what camera are you using im looking at getting an slr to upgrade from my olympus 7.1mp jobbie what would you suggest???

Hi Mark, I use a Canon EOS 400D. I like mine and certainly recommend it but Nikon seem to be just as good.

Firstly, nice fish (& pics). Secondly...& these may be some daft questions ! (I did see some yellow lads in my lfs & I think they look stunning fish)

Q. would a 2ft 20(uk) gal tank be too small for these? or 3ft ok? As I'm thinking of upgrading.
Q. Are the the labs okay with thngs like (if the ph etc is compatible) Penguin tetra, cherry barbs, honey gourami?
Q. Are they ok on their own or pairs or what mix is best?

Thanks

Nigel.

Yes a 2ft would be too small but a 3ft would be ok for a small group.
No they are not comaptible with community fish aprt from the water chemistry , diet they can be aggressive(Peaceful for Mbuna) , you wouldn`t get the best out of any of the fish.
Small groups of 3 or larger would be ideal.
