Yellow Lab Cichlid Holding

hello i have a yellow lab holding it had been like this for quite a while but the other day i noticed a yellow lab fry just the one but she still looks massive round the mouth any ideas what happened should i try and strio her or what thanks please get back to me asap

I have bred Yellow Labs a few times before and I found the best thing to do to ensure that the most fry survive is either strip her or take the female out entirly and let her release them in a rearing tank.

ok thanks it was unexpected we didnt plan on breeding them but they are mating again that fry is around 2 or 3 weeks but she still looks big around the mouth unless she is full again thanks

One probably escaped.

If she still has a gobful more than a month, consider stripping her.

She should release eventually though.

Another month and she'll be holding again, like rabbits these fish.
