Yellow finned barbs!

Does anyone else keep these fish, we currently have 10 wich are a ft long, just wondering how big yours are and what other fish your keeping them with? Also if if you do keep these i gather your tank is not planted

Hypsibarbus wetmorei is a bit of a tank buster. You still often see them sold by the older name Barbus daruphani. They grow to big for most people. Long and slender when young, they become deeper/rounder as they age.

When I was in Laos/Vietnam, they were a popular food fish in the markets.
