Hey everyone, I’m about 6 months into the hobby and I’m experiencing some problems. I currently have a Yellow Tang, yellow belly hippo tang, tomato clown, Picasso trigger and a lion fish. Everything is so peaceful except for sometimes the hippo tang rubs up against the lion fish and causes the lion fish stress. The size of my tank is a 75 gallon and the water quality is great.

Can anyone help me with this problem?

That's really odd to have that happen. Is it a teeny tiny lion or what size? What size is the hippo?

Well, my oppinion would be that the tank is too small for soem of those Tangs, and they're responding by displaying aggression issues. Tangs are actually pretty territorial and when they grow big in small tanks, bad things happen :(

Yeah i was thinking the same thing when i put my newest addition to the tank ( yellow belly hippo). They all seem calm untill the food comes out in the mornings. There is many hiding places also.
