I have two small yellow labs, both about 1 inch long. one has the usual black markings and the other only has a very faint greyish black line running about half the lenght of her dorsal fin. I was told it could be a hybrid but doesnt that get rid of the black markings completely? I'm looking to breed them and i don't want it if it is a hybrid. Any help would be great, Thanks :)

Would it be possible for you to post a photo of them both? We can help to answer your query better then :)

I can't figure out how to upload one :/ wanna help me out?

Yeah goto a website called image shack or photobucket and upload they image there. Once it's uploaded it will give you a image code which you paste on the forum and it will display your photos

The camera's fairly poor but you can still make out which is which and that one has little or no black on the dorsal fin

The photos are too blurred for me to be able to see the fish clearly enough :/

Here are a couple of links so that you can have a read and then compare your fish. Hopefully they`ll give you a good idea of species and ideas on sexing them:

It's much the same as ive heard everywhere else.I'll try and sort out my other camera, had no batteries for it today. They're still a bit small so i think ill let them grow and see if she develops any more color.
Thanks anyway :)
