I have 2 molly females who I suspected to be pregnant, I had them in a 10 gallon tank for birthing only.
No sign of babies before I went to work yesterday afternoon at 1pm but on return at 5.30pm the tank had the 2 females (1 dalmation molly and 1 balloon molly) and several little fry.
I can't see any fry floating and can't see any eggs laying on the bottom, I know it is possible that the ill fry that she may have had, including eggs may have been eaten by them both.
This is not my first batch of fry but the last batch got released into the community by the baby to be eaten up (accident). The parents have now been released back into the community, (if they have any more nature will have to take its course). The fry are still in the 10 gallon tank. Well actually it is divided by a partition as I also have a couple of kribs in the same tank who I am trying to get to spawn too, will update you all on that if anything happens.
Anyway, I am going to go and watch the babies and feed them some liquifry or possibly finely crushed flake, wow I have a choice as to what to feed them.
Wish me luck with these little ones.

Yeah I know that, however my last molly that had babies passed some non fertalized eggs which got eaten eventually.
There are no signs of any unfertalised eggs is what I meant.

On the krib front I think my female may have laid her eggs, the male is hiding in the plant that is in with them and the female looks thinner and is staying in the little plant pot which I have provided for a home for them. She only comes out for something to eat and then she is straight back into the pot.

Yeah but only in showbusiness!!
Don't know why this is the case though.

Had a look at all my molly fry and they are looking really well and happy, they are swimming around like little idiots and are feeding well too.
