My mom and i went about 60 miles to another town today to buy fish(yay) I went to a highly recommended LFS and was highly disapointed. I drove 60 miles for this Fishshop! They had as many tanks as i do in my room :p (not really, but close!) They were also triple the price! So we went around this town untill we found a wal-mart....my mother needed to do some shopping and I need some fish supplies so i headed to the fish dpt. i couldn't believe my eyes....there were live plants on every section with salt filled vups in the brakish water fish(mollies, archer fish!!!!) I saw fish there I have never seen at a wal-mart! I went over to the bettas and they were all alive! All 50 of them! even the ones in the back. I went to the supllies and over heard the worker telling a man about how the gourami he was about to buy are sicker than usal today so he didnt sell him one! The worker instead listen to the man's stocking and went over got some stuff for the guy!

The Wal-Mart(or whoever) put up fish wallpaper and booklets and flyer telling of care sheets. I also didnt see any dyed fish(hardly any dead or sick ones either) Im really happy about this place. So i ended up getting to platys, a female guppy, and 3 ottos(never seen them before in Wal-Mart)

I just read about Walmart having live plants now. It's been a bit over a month since I went there, but all they had then were fish. I wonder if it is like that here.

My local walmart has live plants also. But by far they were not as clean as the one bshockstubb went to. Its good to see some walmarts without dead fish all over.

This is the Wal-Mart in Lake Havasu(no wonder....everyone there is rich) i wish my local one was like that, but this Wal-mart is about 60 miles away. We are gonna call them and compliment on how they keep their fish. :D
