Today I went to LFS and bought a new blue diamond discus    So gorgeous. My old pigeon red discus is looking sooo much happier now that it has a friend. It's following the blue around everywhere. I also got 2 new clown loach companions for my old one. :D

That's awesome! I'm glad your discus got a buddy - how many more are you gonna get?! :p

I'm planning on one more after this: a snowflake. Unfortunately they are 40 bucks as opposed to the 20 bucks each I payed for the ones I have. I have to wait a bit to see if everything is going ok for now. My existing discus is much more bright now.. it's colours have really darkened it's following the new one around. It seems liek they are displaying to each other it's so cute. Unfortunately the clown loach I already had is still sleeping in his log and couldn't be bothered to come out and check on his new friends. Won't he be surprised when he wakes up tonight and sees a familiar face peering back at him. :p

You're lucky. Discus at my lfs are $60 each! The lfs employee said he could do 2 juvies for me at $50 each but that was the best he could do.

I don't care for the snowflake as much - I like the Blue Turqs the best

Wow... juvies for $50.00. What a ripoff. Are they a rare strain? They have a GORGEOUS breeding pair at my LFS , both about 8" that are $200 for the pair.

No, they're not a rare strain, they're the only lfs this side of Atlanta probably that carries them. I guess it's more expensive for them to get them - I know most of the fish come from a guy in Atlanta or from the store's own breeding program.

finally u get the another discus! i'm just waiting for pics now..u can expect a "otm" nom from me! :D

When I try to take pics with the digital camera, it says card full. Do you have any idea how to delete unwanted old photos from the card? I really want to post soem pics but I can't for this reason.

It depends on what kind of camera you have. I have a Kodak EasyShare and whenever I upload pics, I have the option of leaving old pics on the card or deleting them off. Check the preferences of your uploading software...

Aaaargh... I'm not very technology-oriented. I understood about 2 words of what you just said. :p My friend is coming over and will get here soon, I'll ask him. Actually i'm really only having trouble with the full card... I'm sure I can figure out how to upload the pics when I get there.

yes...YES! I'm workin on it and it's almost there. Soon you will all have pics of my fishies.

No pics yet?
Uhm, I have to modify them first on photoshop but I don't know how, so I'm waiting for someone to show me how. Unfortunately they are all too busy or lazy, don't know which. Currently I am tampering with it a bit, trying to figure it out.

Check out EZThumbnails from www.fookes.com If all you have to do is resize them, it's a free program that's easy to use.
