Yay i got a job

After my LFS telling me about a job going at another LFS i got in touch and now i'll be working all my spare time there.

i do college on tues, weds(half day) and thrus and i'll be working on Friday, saturday, sunday and monday.

I'll be starting on friday.

oh and so you understand y my lfs would encourage me to betray him.......

Betta aquatics had 3 chain stores around here, my nearest one is run by Kevin and because the main guy didn't want to run that shop anymore Kevin bought it off him as his own and called it Apher Aquatics. He told me about the job and had called the manager up to tell him how inthusiastic i am etc.

although he wanted full time apparently i can do all the main days they need and when i leave college there's a fulltime job waiting for me there

so i can quite my paper round after 4 years and fill my wallet properly..

Good for you! Making money is one of the biggies for me too (i go to univ in Canada).

I've heard of people saying that working at a LFS takes the enjoyment out of the hobby. Cleaning tanks so much etc.etc. apparently makes you not want to do it at home. But, i doubt its like that with everyone! Enjoy your new job (and the discounts)!

Yer i'ved seen a few topics saying that but the learning experience will be good and aslong as i think about my wallet i'll be ok with the extra tank cleaning!!

yer i said to my dad think of all the discount i get on the tanks i can fit in the house....he goes don't even bother...

Tah very much.

I'm on my 2nd year of e-Business was a brand new course when i joined it!!

we're on the net all the time mainly finding new games to play.
