got 2 female guppies about 2 months ago, put them in with my male for a week or so, then took male out

and they were both getting bigger, then 2 weeks ago one died :rip:

but today i went up and i noticed the female was a bit thinner, then i looked at my cherry barb and she was fat, so i thought she ate them all.. then i opened my eyes and saw 15-18 babies (sister counted 16)

the cherry barb is in a dif tank now, but the mummy-guppy will have to stay

will try get some pics

Congrats Hawkins. If you are leaving the female in with the fry, double whatever cover already exists in there, no matter how much it is. As long as there is room to swim, you can add more.

lol well there was a plant with about 5 things, when i saw the babies i took a grassy plant from my killies tank

the fry are about 5-6mm, each not sure if thats small enough to be eaten?

first time since april ive had fry lol

It is certainly small enough to be eaten. If you have killie breeding mops a few in the tank would certainly help.

yes congrats and you will have more to come i am sure HEHE.

aww cute, i love fry and seeing waht colours they will come out with. keep us updated so i can see the colours!
