My boy yang has gotten dropsy, he is the most sickness prone fish I have ever had. he is not pinconing much at all yet, its slightly there, but he got suddenly bloated and lathargic. Ive seen it enough at work to know what he has. I gave him a salt bath, it only seemed to make his worse. I guess I'll see if hes alive in the morning and see how he has progressed?

Sorry to hear this, its horrid seeing a fish in a bad way.
I dont know what medication but PhishyPhriend has just given you some good advice, i just hope he'll be ok, *hugs*.

Oh no! Thats so sad. :( I hate watching fish that are suffering.
Are his scales sticking up? Maybe epsom salts I've heard that can help...

Unfortunately there is very little chance of survival if it's dropsy. You can try internal bacterial meds and as said the epsom salt baths but i wouldn't hold out much hope, especially if his scales are starting to stick out. I'm so sorry, i've lost one of my females to dropsy and it happened really quick. Is he in his own tank? If not be sure to isolate him to prevent any potential spreading. Good luck x
