***Corydora Crazy***
HI all
Well last night i noticed my orange platy seemed to be more hiding more at around 11.30pm i noticed a white tube, first of all i thought she was having a poo,but when i looked a bit closer i noticed a black ring!
So this is what a birthing tube looks like i thought!
Anyway come 12am she took to hiding inside an ornament so i turned off the lights and left her to it,i couldn't put her into the breeding trap has i had 3 fry from a drop on the 1st august, which now i assume was from my blue platy.
This morning i got up at 5.30am and on first inspection i couldn't see any, anyway i carefully moved the ornament out the way and spotted 2 fry so managed to catch them, then over a hour or so lifting various items of decor i managed to catch 16 in total
But boy it was hard work, they're certainly fast little fishes!!

They're now all in the breeding trap,i'm so hoping that my 30l finishes off its fishless cycle soon!
Here's some pics...I noticed there was a very dark red fry, possible a red wag, my male is a red wag
How long can they stay in the floating trap?
Thanks for reading
