Hi, ive just been sucseful in breeding my neon tetra!
errrr... now what do i do?
i wasnt expecting fry as i wasnt trying to breed them, they just did.
2 have already been eaten so what can i do?

You'll have to catch them and move them to an already cyled tank that doesn't have any other fish in it. You'll need a spongue filter in it, seeing as all other filters will suck up the fry. You'll need to do daily water changes to keep the water quality in top condition.

Also get yourself some liquidfry, you should be able to feed them on that for now. After that it's probably best to feed them baby brine shrimp, so it couldn't hurt getting a brine shrimp breeder set up already as well. Once a bit bigger you can also feed them very finely crushed flake food, but I think they're just too small for that right now.

You said you have an empty 7.5G, that might be a good fry tank. ;)

was it that 3" pleco that was fighting with your 6" pleco? Why don't you put the 3" pleco in your oscar tank unless anyone else thinks the oscars will eat the pleco? :look:
