Fish Fanatic
I added a sixline wrasse to my nano on Saturday and noticed a stomatella shell on the sand Monday morning. This snail came on my original live rock and had grown and reproduced in my tank over the last few months. Today, I noticed a smaller stomatella shell on the sand, so I'm assuming the wrasse and CUC are enjoying hearty meals of this species since everything else is healthy and presumably happy.
Since stomatella can't really hide in their shells, I'm wondering if this is to be expected and they are essentially doomed in this type of environment? Is there something else I should be considering as a cause?
