Wow!

Hi all,
I was cleaning the 2qt. containers of my nice light blue 5 1/2 week old fry. The parents are both veil tails, BUT ONE OF THE FRY S A TWIN TAIL!!!!

Does that ever happen?!
Should that happen?!
I'm all exited!

They sound pretty much the same sort of age mine are.

Mine are still quite small, is say half an inch ish.... But there colours are all starting to slowly come out. there bottom fins are starting to colour, iv seen light blue and red, some have black tips on them too. Along the top of their bodies has gone either light blue or dark blue, ansome are sort of brownish lol! All kinds tbh!

There's this one, that really isnt right lmao. Its tail comes directly off from its head, and sort of goes up at like a 45 degree angle lol! It looks crazy, the only deformed one iv seen. Its growing fine thought and can swim great, its fast as hell lol!!

Oh, and it's been claimed by my brouther lmao. Dont ask why!

I have about 14. Very small spawn because my bettas have never spawned before and I haven't breed bettas before.

Same here! i wish i had only 14 tbh lol. I just know once they get seperated im gonna have a handfull lol!

Well iv been into two lfs's with pictures of thier parents. And said iv just bred them, wont be ready for a few mounths like but are you intrested in them?

First one i went to basically said they definetly want some, but its only a small shop so i doubt i can shift many there. The other place i went is fairly big and stock a descent number of betta's. The guys i spoke to thier said they would have some but id have to talk to the guy that actually buys the fish in, he gave me his name and that, but he went he'll probally take 20/30 of them off you if they look as good as them...

The only thing iv been thinking is iv never seen females in either shop, so weather they only want males i dont know.

Everyone on here in a differnt post seemed to be saying females are in demand at the minuet though. But i think ill try and sell my best looker's and possibly the females privetly over ebay or on here or w,e.

The shops are ok, but its like any shop there just gonna be sat in little jars waiting to be sold sort of thing. Wont be alot better here but less moving them about and stuff, i guess will be better for them haha.

Fingers crossed im not stuck with loads that no body wants, but im 99.9% sure that wont happen lol.

I have 4 lfs around even though I only trust 2 of them. I'm sure the 2 will take them.
