Well, I looked over at my 20 gallon, which happens a lot since it's 7 feet away from me and nice to look at. My Dojos were right in front of the glass, as always... and one of them had a BRIGHT red gash just past her pectoral fin, which went all the way from her spine to her belly! I FREAKED OUT, Jumped up, and RAN over to the tank! A thousand thoughts went through my head.... What happened to her, was it my fault, what was I going to have to do to save her, or was I going to have to euthenize her? These are my babies! I decided to get back into fishkeeping, JUST for the Dojos! I saw them in the store, and my heart linked... They are both just babies, what would I do if something happened to them?!

..... It was a bloodworm stuck on to her side.

Lol! We once did the same with a cory egg stuck to the side of one of our swordies. What was it? A huge whitespot/fungus/mouth/fin rot, dreaded lurgy whatever. Out came the fish books. Panic stations. Symptoms discussed and rejected. Go through the fish medicine cabinet to see if we'd got anything suitable.

When we looked again it had fallen off (or more probably been eaten) and then we saw all the cory eggs stuck at the back of the tank...........................................
