I hope i havent wasted my time / possibly money on this if its out of date.. Does it make any difference if its unopened?

What liquid tests are the best to use?

Who on earth is bothering to sell them? Honestly not sure if i personally balance my fish's lives on an out of date kit, but someone might set me straight....

I've used the API masterkit before, and generally like them, but I wouldn't use it if the tests were expired or it was second-hand.

It its un opened and therefore "new" and ive spotted a few online retailers selling them, not sure if it is out of date, im just presuming so because on the piture it looks like an old design.

Anyone else know anything ?

If there is one thing i've learned, assumption is the mother of all screwups. It doesnt look like mine, but then mine doesnt have KH/GH either. Mine is the one with the clear plastic cover, and black bottom, 7 bottles.

Out of date is out of date on test kits unopened or not. Each bottle is date stamped so you will be able to see

Ok i'd better ask and see if i get a reply out of the seller, must admit i hadnt seen this design. just the black bottomed one ! Clear plastic dome with all th bottles in.
