Would You Buy This Tank

Been offered this tank on eBay for £40.
It's 30" x 15"x 12" and this is the info given. - Beech vineer cabinet and matching hood

- Flurvel 204 External Filter

- Heater

- Light Tube

- Light Starter

- Air Stone

- Air Line

*** There is a crack in the glass about 1/2" at the very top back right hand side. I bought the tank like this and have had no problems using it. Generally sits well above any normal water level.

*** There is water damage to the edges of the top of the cabinet

So would you buy this? Im looking for a bigger home for my fishies!

I personally wouldn't but i'm a perfectionist, i couldn't cope with the crack and water damage. But other than that, it looks like a great deal. The filter itself (when new) is more then the tank and equiptment .

i would buy it and then replace the tank as noah said the filter itself is worth over £60, and you also have the other stuff

I can't afford to replace the tank, that's why i'm looking for chewp options... Would it do?! Lol

would not touch it even with your mmoney, the 204 id older then me and prob long overdue the others bits a worth a few quid

Fluval 204 (not 205, but a 204)

Personally, i'd walk away. Here on TFF i picked up a Juwel Rio 300 for free, just had to drive 30 mins to collect it. Have patience, if your on a budget something worthwhile will come up, but this deal isn't all it is cracked up to be.

Ok thanks i'm desperate for a new tank as I have a panda garra that will need rehoming otherwise and I don't want to! Lol
