Tbh.. No I wouldnt use it. The reg is the most important piece of equipment as it regulates your co2. This is the one item you want to spend cash on. The last thing you want is to wake up one morning to find your fish have been gassed.
Sorry I dont have any links to good regs in the US as im in the UK. Wish I could help you more.
