Hello, I have a 30 gallon tank with 2 brichardi and 2 kribs. I was wondering if If I could add 2 yellow labs to the mix and leave it at that. I have done alot of research and nothing says I cant but I value you guys/girls oppinnion and would eppreciate it.

The brichardi are from Lake Tanganyika where the water is very hard and with a pH in the mid 8's while Kribs are from Western African rivers with very soft water and a pH below 6.5. It is generally recommended not to keep Malawi cichlids with Tanganyikan cichlids or west African river cichlids. While it can be done kribs should be kept with other fish that enjoy a more neutral pH. The yellow labs would do better with other mbunas from Lake Malawi.

Kribs can adapt to the hard ph quite well, they are living in it right now. I have had 2 kribs and 2 brichardi in it for over a month. They seem to be doing fine and the brichardi have not had any agression problems, The only thing I am worried about is the labs. I am not sure about aggression.
