350 litre tank new rio 350 4 tiger barbs 2 dwaft gourami 1 red tail shark 1 angel fish 1 synadotis cat fish 4 cory catfish 2 silver sharks 6 neon tetras 6 runny nose 2 blue rams cheers I am also upgrading the filter to a external one just have not decided yet cheers

The tetras may end up as Angel food and the tank is no where near bigger enough for silver sharks. They a) need to be in shoals of 6+ and need truly monsterous tanks-8' plus - 10'+ to really do them justice.

Why these fish are sold at pet shops is beyond me...

Cheers

Ok cheers I have not bough they yet might miss them out or might just get some really small ones and then just upgrade tank

I would think about cycling the tank first, including the new external filter before you even think about fish. I would skip on the tiger barbs in case they start nipping the corys.

The red tail sharks are very, very aggressive, so be prepared for a lot of trouble if you get it. The older they become, the meaner they are.

Already have red tail shark in my tank now and my Lfs store said that if I use my old external filter and my old fish tank water I can put my old fish in straightaway is this right ? Cheers and run the new external at the same time as old thank you

Yep. Put all the old media into the new filter..as much of the old water into the new tank and it's just like doing a 50% water change. It doesn't hurt to test the all important levels for a week or 2 just to ensure you don't get any spikes.

I would say Tiger Barbs, Angelfish, Red Tailed Black shark and Dwarf Gourami are all incompatible but it really does depend on the individual when it comes to angelfish and gourami's and may work with a large enough tank with enough planting to establish territories. Agreed the silver sharks would be a no-go.
