Ok, So my filter arrived today and I have selected my plant list (I lost the list got to find it soon, it included hc cuba and the rest was low maintenance plants)

The filter has a spray bar and its 5Watt maximum use is for a 35l and it does 200l/h

I have a sneaky feeling the '200l/h' is not enough.

Just got the list:

Hygrophila Balsamica x1
Java Moss x1
HC Cuba x1
Egeria Najas x1
Pogostemon helferi x1

That filter should be fine. 200L a hour for a 35L tank is good. That's all your tank water filtered nearly 6 x a hour.

Circulation is the key for a good planted tank, 6x turnover isnt bad but usually recommended 10x or more, see how it goes... you can always change the filter at a later date :)
