I have a 60L planted tank (which I have looking awesome at the moment finally) which houses 15neons, 6corys and a cranky little male coral blue dwarf gourami. The gourami is not actually meant to be in there, he's meant to be in my 80L but he decided he didn't like the 2 GBR I added, resulting in a tonne of stress on the female GBR, and he had to be shifted. Now I'm stuck, as I wanted to add two female fighters into the 60L. I know D.Gouramis and male bettas do NOT get along, is this the same for females?

I wouldn't have the gourami with females. Also I'm no expert but from what I've read you really need more than two females together otherwise agression can occur. They call it a sorority. Loads of people here have them, I'd wait and see what they say.

Thanks for the tip, sorority sounds like something in the American chick flicks I watch
Not sure I'd fit 3 girls in there, unless the cranky man found another tank. Not really sure where I can put him  I'm sure the lfs would take him as he's a lot nicer than the juvi's they get in (all very nice fish but never any nice coral blues only flames). I hate rehoming fish though

Will wait and see what the others say.
