Would This Be Ok?

I'll be changing my substrate in my 90L and rehoming some odds and ends tetras my other half bought here and there. i will keep my serpae (6) and my corys (6) and cherry shrimp. the tank has lots of real plants and driftwood and has an aquis 1050 external filter. could i add a pair of something to this tank? i know its quite small. i read something about peacock gobies. would they be suitable? any other options? i cant quite push my other half to let me upgrade yet although i reckon by the end of this year i could probably get him to accept something around 120L. going to be some work tho! ignore the pots in the front they are going too, plus adding more plants and wood this weekend and a black background

couple of apistos or bolivian rams would work.

peacock gobies can struggle to get food with faster tank mates around.

lol im over-run with cherrys im not fussed if they get chomped, i can move the majority to my 200L altho they hide away alot in there whether its from the rainbows or danios or both, not sure. Plus ive got an almost ready kitchen shrimp tank still trying to decide between blue pearls or blue tigers. i will look at those suggestions thanks also do you think if i added a pair of rams i could get the serpae up to 10 or leave at 6?

Honey Gouramis I love em... cant help it, their behaviours are so funny when they 'box' with each other!

Two Red Honey Gouramis and two Yellow Honey Gouramis would look cool!

Or a pair of slightly larger Thick Lipped Gouramis

Personally i wouldnt bother with Dwarf Gouramis... disease ridden and prone to being grouchy little things.

From my research before I bought mine, I would have agreed with this. However, from experience, mine are in with guppies and some feisty Limia Tridens, and they get their fair share no problem.

I think I must be the board's Peacock Goby Evangelist, as I sing their praises at any and every opportunity. They are truly lovely fish, and you would be able to have 3 pairs in your tank. It is best to keep them in an even ratio, and if you provide them with some little cave-y things, they will probably spawn. I use small pieces of 3/4" plastic pipe, weighted down.

i do like them... 10 serpae, 6 corys (peppered) 3 pairs of gobies. is that ok for a 90L? ive got caves no problem. i like apistos too... would they be ok for the 200L with a few parkinsons rainbows or not compatible? will do my research properly this eve. going to a big lfs in raleigh on sunday. just to look... and wish lol
