I am In Texas and have a ton of driftwood from a lake just wondering if anyone would be interested. Just wondering if it is worth seling?

Do you have any small pieces for a 5.5 gallon? How much per piece (small, medium, large)? How much for shipping (small, medium, large)?

oh my god, yes! ive been looking for driftwood forever. ive been looking for a good branchy piece about a foot long.

I will go and look for some tomorrow and post some pics. This is not malaysian driftwood and is more of a whitish color. I will see if I can find any good branchy pieces.

awesome! id love to get a good stump for my tank, but the center brace on the top of the tank limits me to a small branch piece.

Wondering if this should be moved to Buy, Sell, Swap? But I always thought, we should have a pinned topic for non-plant, planted tank items in this section as well. It should be structured just like our plant swap section, but for other items besides plants. A lot of us sell ferts and hardscape and there just isn't as much traffic from our section in Buy, Sell, Swap as there is here.

Advertising wood to sell here, is like offering a DTPK in Bettas, you'll get a lot of enthusiasm.

Good luck on the wood.

Well I got some today. After about 30 min. of searching in the low light I found some ok Pieces. I will post pics. soon.
they will probably range from $13 dollars and under.

Out of interest I got told that commercial sales on here were not allowed unless permission was gained from the site owner - this is, I feel, commercial, as in you will make money from it.

I'm not sure, as people sell plants here. All the more reason why I think this should be moved to Buy Sell Swap.

Commercial as in money making, selling on home-grown plants to cover postage is not commercial. If you are only going to charge postage on the wood with little 'profit' then fair enough.

Putting cost and where it should be to one side for the moment. How safe is it taking bogwood from local lakes and putting it in your tank? Just wondered.

i would definetly boil and scrub mine before putting it into a tank. i think that would eliminate any harmful stuff. most driftwood sold at lfs are harvested from local lakes.

Well first post some pictures. he not 100% sure that the wood is able to be underwater without leeching out toxins

The topic was if anyone would be interested if I am not allowed to sell them then I won't. I love this forum and do not want to get into trouble.
