Worried About Overstocking

I have a 10g tank with 5 bloodfin tetras and 2 bronze corys. my bronze corys have been inactive but i believe its because there is only 2 of them. so i want to get 2 more but im afraid it will make them feel over crowded because its such a small tank. Any Ideas ?

2 more should be fine, since cories and tetras swim on different levels.

You can relieve the bioload by investing in a decent filter if you haven't already done so. The Aquaclear 20 or any filter that turns over about 100GPH will suffice. I also like the Fluval 1 plus or even better the U1.

You also might want to make a foray into the planted world if you haven't already done so. There are plenty of low maintenance, low-light plants like water wisteria, salvinia and amazon sword that will suck up some more nitrates for you.

i would up the corys to 5
