i have got a few small snails in my tank. I have recently noticed that there are these very small white slug things in my tank. they look almost like snails without there shells. Thanks.

Post in tropical discussion. Just copy and paste your thread over there.
Also a pic would help.
Make sure there not leeches.

nematodes worms it sound like
to me is it possible to get a photo
of the worm or are they that small
also what are the stats on your
tank to day

ammonia

nitrite

nitrate

pH

thanks the biffster

Hi.
Nitrate:0

Ammonia:0

Nitrite:0

Ph: 7.5

I will put a photo on very soon but they are very small, thanks

what size is the tank and
how long as it been running
it seems strange that you are
showing a zero reading for nitrate
it does sound like nematodes to me like
there nothing really anything to worry
about

no i used fish cycled for about 3-4 months

are you sure after you give this advice to
another newby

to cycle ur tank:

1. fill ur tank with water.
2. add dechlorinater.
3. add filter and turn on.
4. add heater and turn to required temp.
5. (optional) add filter start to the filter.
6. if you dont use filter start leave for 2-4 weeks.
7. if u do use filter start 1-1 and a halp weeks will do.

this is what you said

What colour are they? We really need a picture as well. What fish do you have in the tank? Any sign of disease on the fish in the tank?
