Ive just come home from college, and there are aload of little worm-type things in my tank. They look like nematodes, but are larger as i can see them with quite clearly with naked eye. They are clinging to the glass on all sides of the tank, all below water level.
They are white in color.
I've never had this issue before with any tank.
The tanks houses my Siamese fighter, and 3 yamato shrimp. A few weeks ago i had snails in the tanks but they are gone now.

Does anyone know what these are and should i worry?

They sound like Planaria. If you google them you can find out for sure. They are totally harmless and usually proliferate due to overfeeding. If you want to get rid of them jsut reduce feeding and make sure your fish don't leave any leftovers.

i 2nd that. planaria was my guess too. u can easily find the image online & if u get any newborn baby fish they'll even eat those up for ya

hey thanks for quick reply. I cant actually tell if thats them, they pics dont actually match whats in me tanks, but i think taht could be cos the ones in my tank are young. On closer inspection there is actually smaller ones that are darting around the place as wel.
Ill try the thin taht ya said bout the food, cuttin it down. hopefully tat'll work. thansk for the advice :D
