I volunteer with my school's marine lab, and we also oversee a few freshwater tanks. Today a friend and I found one of our Gold Dust Mollies had died. We removed him from the tank and, being biology students, decided to look at him under a microscope. I noticed that he had some worms in his tail crawling around. I did some quick research but couldn't find anything. This fish was being kept in a 50-gallon tank with (off the top of my head; may be more or less) two Dwarf Gouramis and a Tiger Barb. I will include a video of the worms I was able to capture, though the quality isn't great. Any ideas for what these are?

since they look kind of gray , i think they might be deitrus worms trying to "clean" the dead molly

I'd agree on detritus worms. The recyclers are always there...
