hi fishy peoples

I've recently started working on a tank for kuhli loaches, lots of them :)
at the moment im using caribsea eco complete which I know might not be the best thing, but im trying to work with things I already have spare/not in use I've covered the substrate with a indian almond leaves anyway, and a lot of them littered about the place to provide shelter and somewhere for the kuhli's to go in and out and all around :) there is also a lot of Sumatra wood in there too so it provides a lot of twisted branches for the kuhli's to hide in and around :) and also blocks a bit of the lighting so it isn't too bright. I have a lot of spare plants left over, but im not sure which to use, if any being as a lot of the light is being blocked out, I was just thinking maybe a bit of vallis dotted in and around the wood or just a big curtain of vallis along the back of the tank

any suggestions on what I can do will be appreciated :D

you hoping they will breed?  Are you just going for Kuhlis or will you add Java Loaches too?  I want some more Javas but they are not easy to get, neither are Kuhlis at times.

How many you planning to get?

Sounds like it is the sort of dark and cluttered place they are going to love.  Cannot think of anything at present, except, I have an Amazon Sword sort of plant and I find Kuhlis drape themselves over it, and just hang there to chill.  Just a thought, you might want to add one and see if they become a tree of Kuhlis?

well im not aiming to breed them, but it would be great if they did!, im just planning on the kuhli's at the minute along with a dwarf gourami and a few harlequin rasbora that I already have :) I have a bunch of cryptocoryne balansae its a lovely plant but its taking its time to grow in my tank, but I was thinking of buying another few bunches and just placing them randomly around the tank as I was thinking when they grow tall the leaves will tangle in with the wood and I thought it would look great so I might go for that :D
