I know my water is soft but I didn't expect a 1pH drop in a 400 litre (88 UK gallon) tank with only one unit.
What's your tank's KH? At least 3? This could be the reason for such a drastic change in your PH... I used the CO2 system and my PH dropped to 6.4 from 7.0! It could have been because of the 2 newly added pieces of driftwood, but my KH was just 1. Very unstable, and I needed to buffer it... Hope you check your KH and maybe that'll give you a better idea as to why your PH dropped by 1.0... HTH.

It says on the decription suitable for tanks up to 75litres if im not mistaken. (probably am) Can someone please verify?

My KH is only 4. I knew there was a possibility of a pH crash so I only use 1 unit. They are supposed to be for tanks up to about 75 litres, not 400 litres!
I've removed the CO2 completely for the time being. I'm running only one third of the lighting wattage too. Had a quick look at the tank this morning and at least two of the angels were found and looked quite good. Couldn't find the other two as the lights were not on that eaarly in the morning. Hope they are OK though.

i have 4, 3 on my 40G and one on my 12G.

never had problems and MASSIVE improvement in plant growth (with 3wpg on both tanks)

as gf225 said, dump the sachets and go for yeast and bicarb mix. works a treat.

will do, i've read up sometips on how tomake the CO2 so it should be fine
