I know they are easy to breed, but I'd noticed my female Kribs colours are right out, and she's chasing away everything else (including the male). Sure enough, I can count about 15 baby kribs living in their upturned plant pot.

Unfortunately with the tankmates they have (the clown loaches particularly) I'll be amazed if any survive very long. I guess they are 2mm long at the moment, if that.

Still, they are my first babies, and even if they were totally unplanned I like them and am very pleased :)
 
Wow, I thought these little fellas were eaten 6 weeks ago. Lo and behold though, one has turned up. He's nearly 1cm long.

I'm not sure whether I'm more amazed that one has made it this long, or that I've never noticed it! Must be good at hiding. He certainly moves when the foot long BGKF comes hurtling down the tank lol

That is a Black Ghost Knife Fish. The BGKF in fact, although he has grown since those were taken.
