Wont Take Frozen

my new bettas wont take frozen or flakes. Im not sure if they were fed on purley live food or not, and with only having bbs thats a lot of shrimp to fill one mouth. They just look at the frozen food as if they were waiting for it to move.
Any ideas?

Fast them. Try skipping feeding for a day or two. When they get hungry, they will eat anything you drop in there. However, if they don't eat it, remove it so it doesn't rot in the tank. After a while they will give in. It's a matter of who gives in first: the fish, or you.

give them some time to get used to the new environment too. if they don't eat for a couple of days, i would give them some live food and slowly introduce pellets and dried foods with the live food
